As usual, there have been many major updates to YouShare.com since our last
written update. Most noticeably you'll notice a sleeker, more user friendly design!

New Feature Updates:

-Subscriptions: You can now subscribe to users whose updates you like or specific albums!
Note: You will receive e-mail notifications when updates are made!

-Increased Personal Info: You can now enter more information about yourself such as:

~Relationship status, looking for, interested in, etc!

-Member and Sorting: You can now sort through files as well as members on the explore page
Tip: Find your friends by using the search feature and select 'user'

-Upgraded Album moving, editing and deleting: It's now way easier to delete and edit your albums!

-Invite: You can now invite your friends to Youshare by clicking the 'Invite' link at the top

-Updated Avatars: Re-Upload your avatars, no more blurry and stretched photos!

There have been many major updates to YouShare.com since our last
written update. We are constantly working to make YouShare.com as fast and user friendly as possible

Feature Updates

-Flash Uploading Implemented: You can now multi upload as many dozens of files at once!
Note, if you prefer our old upload system, it is still readily available.

-Explore: You can now explore all public uploads by guests and members.

-Search: You can now search YouShare.com for members, files, videos, and more!
Remember to give names to your uploads / albums as this will help others as well
as yourself find them easily later on!
Select from the drop-down menu to sort by file type.

-Gallery Organization

-Order - Members can now organize the order files appear in your galleries!
Simply hit edit gallery, then organize gallery!

-Moving - Members can now move files from one gallery to another
Simply hit edit gallery, then check the boxes of the files you wish to move and select
the location from the dropdown at the bottom of the screen.

-Photocopy Galleries: Files can now be given permission to be photocopied from your account to your friends.
Want a cool gallery your friend just uploaded? Ask them to give you permission to photocopy it to your profile!

-Photogalleries

-Resizing: Photos uploaded are resized on the fly, so they load faster!

-Toggling/Viewing: You can now use your arrow keys front and back to browse through photo albums with ease!

-Random Friending - Don't have any friends? Click on the Friends tab and then click 'Random Add' to request new
friends!

Some big news today! Guest and Member uploads have been increased bigtime!
Guest uploads have been increased to 300 MB from a mere 50MB.
Member uploads have been increased to a a whopping 1 GB (1000 MB). That means you can upload up to 1 GB
worth of files with each upload session. Remember, you get unlimited space as a member, there's just a cap
on the filesize (1 GB). Enjoy! And be sure to tell your friends about youshare.com!

Some Bug Fixes have been made:

-Thumb not being generated on video uploads - FIXED!
- No logout message after logging out - FIXED!

Hi there! There haven't been any News updates in a while, but there has been much work going on behind the scenes!

Here are some bugs that have been fixed lately:

-Video encodes are working again: So continue to upload all your videos
-Photo album tracking. Now you no longer have to scroll to get to the next image on galleries.
-Album permission sharing is in the process of being fixed. Soon you can have others upload to YOUR albums
-Improved captcha checking system

-Improved notifications system
-On site Search Engine for members, files
-Improved networking and friend finder
-Flash uploading, upload an entire folder or group of files with one click!

We realize there is a file / album delete bug. Which currently occurs when you try to delete a file or album. We are working to get this fixed! Also please note that the site is Optimized for use in FireFox.

We have encountered an error with video uploading and encoding and are working on a fix for this. Hopefully this will be solved soon. We are also currently upgrading our hard disk space due to increased usage on the site! Thanks for telling everyone about our free service and continue to spread the word about YouShare! The site has been relaunched with a more robust system. There are many new features. Among them are user profiles, multi-file uploads, slideshows, ability to add friends and more!
